E-Safety Parent Information Session, 10th May 2017

I am delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to come into school for an information session about internet safety. In an ever-changing technological world, awareness of what and how your children access the online domain, and how you monitor this is such an important part of your role as a parent. Different to how it was even just five years ago, more children have access to the internet through phones, tablets, games consoles and PCs.

The information session will be led by Alan Earl from SWGFL. A serving police officer on secondment from the specilist Child Internet team at the Avon and Somerset Constabulary, Alan will provide you with the latest up to date information and advice for parents. Alan wil lalso be working with our Year 5 and 6 children and providing training for staff.

The parent session will take place on Wednesday 10th May from 6-8pm and I strongly encourage your attendance.
