Computers plays a part in all of our lives, and we aim to give the children at our school every opportunity to access new technologies which enhances their learning. Computing is interwoven in to the children’s learning continuously, and it provides them with ideas and formats that could only be dreamt about twenty years ago! In addition to the great learning that happens, we place very high value on teaching the children the importance of keeping themselves safe when online. These ‘esafety’ lessons are taught in every year across the school through Computing lessons, discrete teaching and regular assemblies. We also endeavour to keep parents up to date with the latest issues through priding them with relevant information:
The nature of IT means that we are continuously looking at how we can improve the outcomes for the children at the school. We aim to keep up to date with changes in technology, and ways in which it moves forward.
